Host-based Research Methods Training

Structured PhD Research Training 

The host institutions expect all incoming PhD students to pass induction and research methods modules. There are five weeks of training delivered throughout the first year. 

Our CRT does not replicate these modules and they often include host-specific information and is useful in bringing students from different disciplines across the institution into contact.
